Frenzy over Farmville

Staying at home definitely the best thing to do at the moment. Just to pass my time, I had myself enjoying planting crops. Oops. Of course its not the real one but in Farmville. I figured out most of my friends had already get their job or underwent some training or short courses to upgrade their skills. Its not that I am not interested to get job right now but I want to spend more time with my parents at home. I have been away for about half of my life to earn knowledge. It does not cost me any harm for just to spend more quality time with them. Right? I have send out my resumes to potential employers and recently, attended an interview. However, things does not turn out good as the way that I wanted. It was a good experience though even I do not get the job.

Somehow I felt a slight relief! Weird~

A relief maybe because I do not want to get out of my comfort zone. That is why. Hurm .. There are things we cannot get when we started to work and chasing the wealth of world. Haha!! No hard feelings people but its the reality we had to face when we get apart from our family especially those who working out of their hometown.

Things like happy moments when you prepare breakfast, lunch, dinner for your folks. Cleaning the house (volunteerily..) with a happy heart. When you are not at home, who does the laundry and the cooking? At least you lessen their burden by doing the house chores. Walk or jog together along the beach after they finish their work. Listen to their heydays stories or even funny stories when you were little. Story on when they had you for the first time. And many more. If I list it down, it would be never ending story. So, you can conclude yourself how BIG sacrifices they had done for you.

Enjoy your day and be grateful because you have your parents around. To those who are not, pray for their peace and comfort.

Internship calls!!

Oh my...I am glad I am on my way to finish my semester soon. We just attended our 1st meeting for internship details on where are we going to send the forms and resumes and to whom. This is going to be really exciting! But, guess what. This afternoon when I check on the lists of private and government hospitals, Bintulu is not in the list! How come? So, i sent an e-mail to the lecturer in-charge and cross my fingers so that she would check on it and say that BINTULU IS IN!!

Actually I am tired of being up and down to hospitals and medical centres in Shah Alam and yet still do not have any reply from them for their approval to let me do my survey on their patients and doctors. Ayoooo..Why la? Now is already 2nd week after I sent the letters why still no answer? Now I have to think of getting part-time job because I am running out of money. Once I go out and do my research I think I have spent about 50 Malaysian Ringgits for the taxi fares, makan-makan and what not.. I am tired of asking my mom to bank-in money for me and yet I still stuck here doing nothing. Just because they still don't answer my request. *sigh*

I'm off to bed.

hibernating for so long

Hi guys and girls...
been away for so long made me feel awkward to blog...in other words i'm lost.Plus, piles of assignments and lab reports weeks before had me lacking of time to continue blogging. Most of my ex-schoolmates are now doing their internship and I feel that I'm too far away behind coz I have to wait another 2 semesters.

ok, put aside the internship matter.

I'm looking forward to shed a few kgs. Especially during this fasting month, a good idea though. ngehehehe....So far, I've been fasting for 12 days!!!! A record for myself..(ehermm...but i drink). Still, its a good progress for me.

But, as people says, takde maknernyer...You know why??

This evening I ended up finishing 4 slices of pizza, 2 bowls of cream soup and 2 glasses of Coke. And a bit of spaggheti..Ughh..I've been longing to eat at the Pizza Hut and my wish had been fulfilled. Thanks to Liza,Farhah, and Ieja for sharing the bills..=) Not forgetting Sue,Anum,Nana, Ida and Nadia. For Laura and Olivia, ada hari we go memburu keyh!!

Hooray!! I've just finished my exams last Thursday and that was the beginning of an exciting weekend!!!
Celese, my cousin was coming to KL that night. It was 8 hours after a long flight from Sydney to surprise her two sisters who were already arrived at Bintulu the day before with their dad, Wayne. She stayed overnight at my place in Shah Alam and the next day, the plan was sending her to the LCCT airport and I'll be taking bus to KL Sentral, to get a train to Seremban.

Me myself had another plan with my friends to go to Port Dickson to enjoy the beach but........

HOWEVER...

the plan was turned into a trip back to Sarawak with my cousin!!! It started as we chatted and saying," Oh..I wish you will coming back with me. We can spend sometime together and meet our families".. and I said " I can't afford to do that unless somebody's paying for the ticket", then she answered, " Oh, yeah..I can buy one. "

And I was, " Oh, that's impossible. By this time, there should be no seats to Bintulu. It's nearly 11.30 am and the flight is on 1.40pm."

" There's no harm if you ask them. We can try", she replied. That's how the story goes and we went to the counter and wait for about 15 to 20 minutes and buy one ticket at price of RM 483.50.
I kept on saying, " This is crazy, Celese! This is crazy!" and she goes like, "Believe it! This is for real!! We can surprise your mum too."

We were excited to get both our parents and our siblings to be surprised and as we arrived at the Bintulu airport our family were waiting at the lobby. One of the surprise working as Renee and Jennifer were crying the moment they saw Celese. As for me, my surprise wasn't because it was spilled out and mummy accidentally know about it from Farhah. She keep on calling me and couldn't reach me, alternatively she will call Farhah to make sure that I'm with her. Silly me, I should have told Farhah the white lie and zip the secret. If not because I'm running out of my airtime, mummy will be SHOCK to hear I'm back!!
I was planning to tell her don't contact me because my phone battery was low and I'll be late to Seremban as the train will arrive late but I just can't do that because I don't have money to top up!!!!!!!

But at least, I'm home and be able to spend some little time with my families and our long lost cousins.

For Celese, I want you to know that I really enjoy the weekend and really thankful for the precious 5 days. Yesterday morning I bid her goodbye before she fly back to London in the arms of Gavin, her husband to continue their journey to Latvia, Russia after a few weeks.

But I feel bad at the same time coz I have forgotten my friends in Seremban. I'm so sorry girls. We will plan another trip and I won't ruin our plan again especially the plan to stay at Lieza's place.

'm back.

The idea of dropping the critical subjects makes me dizzy. Yeah. Just dizzy. It costs me a pail of tears with a handkerchief thinking about it.

After thinking of the pros and cons..I came out with a decision not to drop them. By that I'll start the 4th semester with an open heart. My previous sem result? I am not to reveal it here but for sure my pointer increased. Just a little babies steps. But I'm sure I'll improve and try to maintain it.

This semester I will move on with another 4, err...5 actually (*not sure whether the admin tell us to drop the other one or not)

1. MEDICAL PARASITOLOGY
2. PHARMACOLOGY AND TOXICOLOGY
3. CLINICAL PATHOLOGY
4. COMPLEMENTARY & ALTERNATIVE MEDICINE
5. RESEARCH METHODOLOGY *

The 1st three have 4 credit hours each and the other two 3 and 2 credit hours respectively.

and... guys..i wanna ask, if anyone knows if we extends another semester,is it true we'll unable to earn the title honours? As an example, Bachelor of Biomedicine (Hons)*..The title will be drop from the Bachelor? Or is it based on our CGPA ONLY to entitle the honours ? hELP!!

hmmm..I'm back..Sorry guys, just landed on the land of Malaya this evening and finished cleaning the house. It's been dusty here and this house needed my energy to clean the dust..since its just me and Sue the first two came back from the 3-weeks holiday..eheh..mopping the floor unpacking my stuff..see the same old table that I use to study(old?its just nearly 2 yrs old..)..duhh!!

And I AM TIRED..thinking of the my previous sem result really bothers me these 2 days..should I drop one of the coming subjects or should I just go on with them?

Happy Father's Day to papa and all fathers in the world. No cards or whatsoever for papa but a home made Laksa Sarawak which cooked with abundance love from his daughter together with his wife. Unfortunately we unable to upload some pics because we don't take any..hee~~

We proceeded our day to go to the St. Anthony's church and offers our prayers to God so that papa always healthy and will always be a great father to us..and..continue loving us as much as he always do..hehe.. Yesterday was raining heavily and even the priest said its a blessing to have the rain pouring down. Instead assuming that less people come to the church due to the weather but HALLELUJAH!! The numbers are more than I expected..

Aaaa...at last I can continue to scribbles after a long break.. Gawai was celebrated just among our small family..and no 'open house' celebration. For some people, it maybe sounds dull but for me that is the best way for get-together celebration. Everyone is coming home , not like the previous break, that day was just the 4 of us ..mummy, papa, Damien and me. Beatrice and Davis were at their school and Uni respectively.

Okay, lets back to the fried kueh teow..hmm..yesterday, the first thing in the morning was thinking of what am I going to eat for breakfast. Mummy made kelupis, but still the image of the kueh teow lingering in my mind..Heheh..FYI, I love fried kueh teow veryyyyyyy muchhhh!!! Especially the Penang fried kueh teow..

I really hate it when everytime I put my feet near Plaza Alam Sentral there will be bad things happen to my shoes. That day we went to Maybank Building to bank in some money for the flight ticket back to Sarawak. As soon as my left foot stepped on the road, out of the cab..my pump went berlubang coz the gum that attache to the heel already unstickable..Huuu...

AND THAT WAS THE FIRST STARTING OF MY BAD LUCK...
Then, I borrowed Liza's to get into the bank and finished my business. Another thing happened was my ATM card stuck in the deposit machine. I really forgot that I put in the card and went away until I heard the beeping sound from the machine..Haiyo!!! Never mind..I'll get it on the next day..

Max, my ex-schoolmate came to the rescue when suggested to put rubber band tie it my pump and my leg. At least it can stand for the next 20 minutes walking to a BATA shop nearby..After 15 minutes choosing the right sandals, we went for lunch and met another two Max's friend. Order punya order, we enjoy our food. But not-so-enjoy la coz my Nasi Goreng Cina was very the masin..iskh..Duit punya pasal, I finished it.

Then, we loitering around..find new clothes and went to MPH to buy my lil bro Damien SPM's practical book. Prinsip Akaun and the Additional Math. Finally..before going back, we took some pictures sambil enjoying our McD's sundae cone.

OMG..12pm sharp..on 17th May 2008..I can grasp a breath of relief as we finished our DTu 0502 subject's mini project..Gladly we end it with lots of laughter yet an exhausted 2 days of Leadership Day..huhu..

1st day

We started on the 14th of May with 6 to 7 groups setting up their booth respectively and every booth have conducted lots of activities by applying leadership qualities..Sounds boring but its actually taught us being a good leader and follower. Even me myself feel that controlling a booth needs a big responsibility and sacrifices in terms to achieve our goals. I have to sacrifice my time with friends to stay put in the booth and make sure everything will be done smoothly..but actually i escaped for about half an hour to get henna to be tattooed impermanently on my beautiful right hand...ngee~~

We closed the booth at 1pm..wee!! And suddenly Uze, our programme director came and said that the judges will come around 2..And I said WHAT!! We've packed all things and then the judges wanted to evaluate the booth in one hour time?? I don't blame Uze for that and even I pitied him for his hardworks to get things done perfectly..The feeling of pitiness falls on me 100x when he shows his innocent face. Moreover I pity my team member Farhah, Liza, Kalpu and Viki..not forgetting Fahmi and Nadia for working endlessly the night before to prepare the decorations for the booth. For better or worse,we quickly set up our booth and prepared to perform poco-poco dance for the judges but unfortunately, the cd for the poco-poco dance went gila-gila and the laptop unable to play the song.Not the perfect time for us to show our talent in poco-poco huh..Never mind..we still can do it in our home,right? Rumah no 41? Hehe..

2nd Day

The second day(17th May '08) continuity from the 14th May arrived and we started it with setting up the checkpoints. Started with registration of participant groups and briefing from the head of Games committee about the location and how the marks are given then,we proceeded to our own check points. Actually Uze proposed that we need to warm up the participants by doing poco-poco and my heart leaped with JOY!! And the maintenance department once again made me really dissappointed for not preparing the PA system. They canceled it at last minute.. What th H***! Hmm..after this don't ever say the word POCO - POCO in front me guys.. Its really irritating..

After about almost 2 hours watching the participants struggling with each other to get the 1st prize and sunbathing on the MSU badminton-or-so-whatever-court we completed our tasks..Fuhhh!! Its really damn hot there! And I can't wait to end the game..muahaha!!

I've tried to upload some pics but the internet kinda slow mellow leads me to kegeraman and ke-menyampah-an. So, end of it. Tomorrow I'll try to post it. That's it guys..After this I stay up to continue my report on the Leadership Day.

Happy teachers day to my teachers, lecturers,etc..and this goes especially to my pa and mi...huhu..They are the best teachers I ever had in this world...And today I would like to dedicate this day especially to both of them coz today was a memorable day...The day they met..Hmm..that was along time ago during Teacher's Day in Kapit..Mummy was performing her Ngajat Dance with her group..then Pa for the first time noticed her and with no hesitation tried to get her attention and amazingly he won!!
I gratefully thank THIS day because without this day maybe there is no Vivienne Rozanna, Beatrice Claire,Damien Kenny and Davis Sebastian in this world..

Yesterday we just got back from Seremban. Niat asal was we wanted to register as volunteer at Hospital Seremban..but..due to some technical problems..we cancelled and spend the whole day at Kal's place..yet we enjoy it! Why? Coz Kal and her family keep on serving us lots of foods!! The evening before, her brother bought me dim sum..the only thing that I kempunan the whole month..and the next mornin, her dad bought me wantan meeee!!!!!!! Thank u so much Kal!!! Luv u dear..hehe..
Then for lunch, she cooked Indian style food for us..nasi daun pisang..heheheh...those r reli mouth-watering!!

Outing to Klang!

Wheewww!! Finally we just finish our last paper for the mid sem exam..We ended up outing to Klang..Rm2 for the bus fare to Klang and we went straight up to the GSC in Centre Point to look up the best movie we should watch..And....we've decided to watch "Congkak"..At first we thought that there's just the three of us watching dat movie..Rupa2nya..hmm...adalah 2-3 orang..ahaha..Apuu...since that the movie start at 6.50pm, lambat lagi nak start..about 2 hours.. we went to Marrybrown to fuel up our energy after perah2 otak for the Medical Entomology paper. Apalagi..

This happens when you're way too hungry..

Chatted at the Marrybrown for almost 2 hours, then we blah...
Watching "Congkak" is really worth it..Its like, baru je nak tarik nafas lega..suddenly ada lagi scenes that can make you tercabut bulu ketiak..hahahaha!!
